By creating an account or using TutorNook you agree to these terms. TutorNook is run by [your full name or company name].

What TutorNook is

TutorNook is a place where students and tutors find and contact each other. We introduce you; we are not a school or a tutoring company, and we are not part of any agreement between a student and a tutor. Lessons, fees and schedules are decided by the two of you.

Your account

• Give true information and keep your password private.
• You must be 18 or older. Students under 18 may use TutorNook only with a parent or guardian who accepts these terms and is responsible for the account.
• You need a confirmed email address to contact people.

For tutors

• Your profile must be honest: your subjects, experience, qualifications and rates.
• We do not check qualifications unless a profile says it is verified. Students should ask and decide for themselves.
• The first tutors to join get student requests free as “founding tutors”. We may introduce paid plans later and will tell you well in advance.

For students

• Meet and pay tutors at your own judgement. For classes in person, think about safety: for example meet in a public place first, or have an adult present when a child is taught.
• TutorNook does not handle payments between you and a tutor.

Rules for everyone

• Be respectful. No harassment, hate, threats or sexual content.
• No spam, advertising, scams, or asking for money or personal details that are not needed for a lesson.
• No fake profiles, and no pretending to be someone else.
• Share your phone number or other contact details only when you feel comfortable. Never send money or personal documents to someone you have not met.
• Do not try to break, overload or misuse the site.

Reports and removal

You can report or block anyone in a chat. We may read reported conversations, remove content, hide a profile, suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules or harms others, with or without notice depending on how serious it is.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you write. You allow us to store it and show it as needed to run the service (for example showing your tutor profile publicly and your messages to the person you are chatting with).

No guarantees

We try to keep the site working, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. We do not guarantee that you will find a tutor or a student, or the quality of any lesson. To the extent the law allows, TutorNook is not responsible for what happens between users or for losses from using the site.

Ending your account

You can delete your account any time on the Account page.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you on the site or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: hello@tutornook.in.
